THE HOUSE WHERE THE SIGN OF CAPRICORN SITS IN YOUR BIRTH CHART IS NOW A FULLY RENOVATED HOUSE

The House where Capricorn sits in your birth chart has been undergoing major renovations which may have involved a lot of demolition and management in the last 14 years; the length of Pluto’s transit in Capricorn.

Mercury turns retrograde in Capricorn on the 29th of December but I think this retrograde is like the last polishing stage of a long renovation project that has been taking place in the sign of Capricorn since Pluto first entered the sign in 2008.

The New Moon in Capricorn on December 23rd takes place on the 1st degree of Capricorn echoing when Pluto first reached that degree in March of 2008. However, Pluto is now preparing to exit Capricorn and the New Moon in the very first degrees of Capricorn, on the Solstitial degree, augurs renewal for that part of your chart. The New Moon in Capricorn forms a very tight square aspect to Jupiter in Aries also sitting on the Equinoctial degree.

This is fresh, new, initiating energy and although a New Moon is when the nights are at their darkest, particularly a New Moon near the Winter Solstice, I think the end of 2022 comes with a beautiful integrative influence.

Saturn which rules the New Moon has separated from its square with Uranus and its the third and last pass on these degrees (March and August this year) so we are really integrating the transit of Saturn in Aquarius and the lessons and work it brought and the timing is perfect because it is at the end of the year when we are compelled to take stock.

Mercury is about to turn retrograde in Capricorn (29th) where Venus was retrograde last year. The years before that we had Saturn transiting in Capricorn and the South Node Eclipses taking place here! That is a lot of demolition and renovations. If you have important Capricorn placements you most definitely know what that means.

Imagine you are sanding something in the Capricorn part of your chart:

First in the background there’s the coarse Pluto in Capricorn sandpaper (2008-2023-24): ‘’Unfair/corrupted/pain/rough/horrid/ugly problems’’.

Then the ”relatively coarse” Saturn in Capricorn sandpaper came (2018-2020): ‘’Depressing/harsh reality/no cake/all work-no play’’

AND the ”still coarse” South Node in Capricorn sandpaper (2018-2020): ‘’Must become a monk with no desires/let go/transcend’’

AND more recently the cherry on top: Venus retrograde in Capricorn sandpaper: Less coarse but still harsh (December 2021): Nobody loves me/must try to have no feelings’’

Which brings me to this year’s Mercury retrograde in Capricorn which I think will be polishing that same place in your birth chart to a near perfect shine.

I realize that things are far from being perfect but the end of 2022 is imbued with a mysterious light that shines in the darkest of night. Do not waste time on trivialities; let your heart be filled with this light and the wisdom acquired from your past experience.

Blessings🌟

JUPITER-SATURN CYCLE IN AIR SIGNS

Saturn transiting in Aquarius since 2020 ushered us into a 200-year Air period cycle which is determined by Jupiter and Saturn only forming their conjunctions in Air signs for the next 200 years. Jupiter and Saturn met in the Air sign of Libra in 1980-81 and
Air Period themes have to a certain extent been permeating the cultural landscape for a long time. However it wasn’t until December 20th, 2020 when Saturn and Jupiter met in Aquarius that the Air Triplicity shift ”officially” occurred.

We now have fully exited a 200 year Earth Period Cycle and although the last two years were very static (thanks to Saturn transiting in the Fixed sign of Aquarius) they also served as a quantum portal into new ways of being in the world.

We are still humans with all of our human complexities, however we may very well be on our way of becoming very different humans on a biological and energetic level. What we ingest has been changing us in unexpected ways and as we move forward, reality may not work exactly as it did before. We have been initiated into an Air paradigm, foreign to your grand-parents, your great grand-parents and the archaic crumbling hierarchical structures that run our societies. There is still much to discover about this Air period and how it works and we can only speculate on the extent of the changes upon us especially in regards to technology, our ‘‘natural humanness”, and how these two things combined are shaping our future. There is no reason to fear or resist these changes and yet we may have to be more deliberate with our consciousness and where we invest our attention as we move forward. I believe many of us are coming to grips with that realization especially as it relates to social media and the impact of technology on our bodies.

In a sense, what’s happening is that the unconscious mind is a luxury the human species cannot afford at this point in our dilemma, and so the unconscious mind is simply rising into consciousness by being hardwired into this global infrastructure.

Terence McKenna

The Air signs (Aquarius, Gemini, Libra) are said to be conceptual, dynamic or ”yang”, relating more to the intellect and the realm of ideas. Air signs excel with abstractions, linking concepts into theories with the right amount of detachment to bring about objective visions and perspectives that functions better when applied to the whole as oppose to the individual level. The Air signs allows for the experience of abstract constructs, ideas and networks which means it also becomes much easier to reside within them. We have entered a space where multiplicity is part of the game and reality may be as malleable and multi-layered as what we focus our attention on. This is always the case but the Air period may emphasize consciousness in ways we have only dreamed of so far in our life time.

Our online experiences and personas are now overlapping with our everyday awareness in ways that are hard to observe consciously. It is becoming increasingly hard to know if our cravings and desires are arising from within or if they are subliminally suggested to us via our online experience; We are becoming hackable humans.

Technology is now overlapping with reality in ways that emphasize how our internal landscapes are projected onto material reality and how our experiences of so called ”reality” is reactive to our internal dialogues. Technology, your phone, your smart watch/home/car/fridge/vacuum, social media, the internet, is filling your awareness with more images and information than your mind could ever process consciously which blurs the lines between the material, the virtual, the conceptual and everything in-between. Our ability to communicate and share information with anyone instantly is also emphasizing our inherent interconnectedness and increasing the speed at which people experience psy phenomenons like telepathy, pre-cognition and apparent synchronicities. Even our experience of time is on the verge of changing, revealing itself to be non-linear in ways which are usually only theorized about but not necessarily experienced.

CAPRICORN SOLSTICE 2022

This upcoming Capricorn Season starting on Winter Solstice is ruled by Saturn in Aquarius and I think it will offer us important integrative moments in regards to the events of the past two years and allow us to catch our breath and root down more solidly before Saturn enters Pisces on March 7th, 2023 and more extensively before Pluto enters Aquarius on March 23rd, 2023 after having been in Capricorn since 2008!!

Pluto leaving Capricorn may also bring to a close an important chapter that began in your life around 2008. The ingress of Pluto into Aquarius is very much part of this larger Air Period shift we are moving through and although we will not be able to know in our life time the impact of this 200 year Air-cycle, Astrology allows us to speculate on some of the forms that could emerge that relates to the Air element, and what kind of societal and cultural shift we could expect. As of right now, it looks like some of these shifts may in part have to do with managing our consciousness while being augmented and influenced by technologies.

This year’s New Moon in Capricorn arrives on the 23rd of December, only a few days after Jupiter’s ingress into Aries on the 20th and the Sun’s entry into Capricorn on the 21st. The New Moon takes place in the very first degrees of Capricorn and forms a square to Jupiter in Aries; two Cardinal signs that bring extremely dynamic initiating powers to this lunation.

Mercury station retrograde in Capricorn on the 29th of December and Venus meets Pluto in Capricorn on New Year’s Day which may bring up some of the themes you were wrestling with last year at this time while Venus was moving retrograde in Capricorn. I do think that this particular Mercury retrograde in Capricorn (29th of December to January 18th, 2023) could offer much needed integration in preparation for the important changes coming in 2023. It will get increasingly easier to let go of things that have been hard to dislodge in the past two years and 2023 will bring some important astrological shifts starting in March 2023.

To be continued….

”There is no contradiction between technology and spirit. There is no contradiction between the search for intellectual integration and understanding and the psychedelic experience. There is no contradiction between ultra-advanced hyper-spacial cyber culture and Paleolithic archaic culture. We have come to the end of our sojourn in matter. We have come to the end of our separateness.”

-Terence McKenna

NEW MOON IN CAPRICORN

The New Moon in Capricorn arrives late on Tuesday night in a conjunction with Pluto. Not only is a New Moon a time of renewal and of rich dark tilled soil, Pluto is a planet often associated with rebirth and transformation. The deep cathartic changes brought by Pluto are usually pretty painful and often not by choice. Changes brought by Pluto are slow and far reaching. There cannot be renewal without death and fundamentally when we enter the realm of Pluto we are never far from the process of decay and death which feels unfair, unjustified, difficult and mostly outside of our control. (Ask anyone who has experienced a Pluto transit)

Pluto is a slow moving outer planet which means its influence slow, and is a generational and collective one before being a personal one. The sign of Capricorn has received a lot of attention in the last few years with Saturn transiting here along with the eclipses taking place on the Capricorn/Cancer axis. Last year began with an epochal conjunction of Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn which occurred on January 13th, 2020 at 22 degrees of Capricorn – one degree away from the New Moon in Capricorn coming up tomorrow exactly a year after the powerful conjunction of Saturn and Pluto. Capricorn is often compared to the systems and hierarchical structure of societies. I could spell it out for you but its becoming increasingly clear to everyone that we are currently undergoing very big societal changes that will be far reaching.

On a personal level you can look at where Capricorn sits in your chart to understand where something new is ready to emerge from the ashes of an old way of being. The New Moon is a time of obscurity when the light of the Moon is faint and the night is dark. This is not your average reset but a profound surrender to a new flesh that is waiting to emerge. The renewal taking place is profound and still invisible; things will be slow and the transformation far reaching. We can get close to the mysteries of death but no one knows for sure. There is also no possible spiritual mastery without mastering death or at least our fear of death. Death has such a powerful hold on us that it holds us inside our limited, restrictive and controlled lives. Pluto initiates us to the darkness of the unknown and the power that comes from transcending what has an invisible power over us. To transcend your fear of death means to live in the totality of your life and power.

This world is shrouded in darkness. Here, only a few can see their way free. These few birds escape from the net, and fly away.

WEEK OF APRIL 1st, 2019: NEW MOON IN ARIES

COLLAGE BY MARIE CONIGLIARO

When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be.

When I let go of what I have, I receive what I need.
Tao Te Ching

The Moon enters Pisces today (Monday) at 12:17pm NDT. She is waning/dark until the New Moon in Aries Friday at 6:20 am NDT. If you have been reading my forecast for a while, you will remember that the Dark Moon phase is usually associated with decluttering, cleansing and letting go.

Mercury is now direct in Pisces and slowly moving ahead but still in a conjunction with Neptune so definitely not out of the fog just yet. The Moon will also meet Mercury and Neptune while traveling through Pisces on Tuesday evening. Wednesday the Moon will be void of course for most of the day before entering Aries late Wednesday night. The Moon will be at its darkest on Thursday night before the New Moon in Aries on Friday morning:

Whatever transpired for you in March during  Mercury retrograde in Pisces is now finally being integrated consciously. It could also be that things felt blocked or did not move ahead as fast as you would have liked or that you were missing an important piece of the puzzle. Solutions are slowly emerging with Mercury moving direct and light is now being cast on matters that had remained obscured. It could be that during the Mercury retrograde of March, important reflexions surfaced and you are now feeling ready to implement some changes.

For most of the week, with the Moon in Pisces and the long VOC of Wednesday, we walk the very last part of the Zodiac; the sign of Pisces is considered a potent place where everything is churning and shifting before rebirth.

Spring began a few weeks ago here in the Northern Hemisphere but this week, the New Moon in Aries will bring an important opportunity for a potent reset; an excellent time to plant the seeds of what you want to see grow in the next 6 months. Saturn in Capricorn will square the New Moon in Aries asking us to simplify and refine the topics of the house where Aries is found. More extensively, the matters of the house where Capricorn is located is also undergoing major long-term renovations and must be taken into account. Mars in Gemini ruling the New Moon in Aries will complicate this period, pulling our attention in a thousand direction. Focus will be a difficult but necessary element in the coming weeks, plan accordingly.

Take this week as an opportunity to sit with the shifting tides. Take in consideration what has transpired in March. Reflection, meditation, cleaning, decluttering, SIMPLIFYING, and deep cleansing are favoured activities until the New Moon Friday morning. The South Node of the Moon and Pluto are conjunct in Capricorn all week and offer a deep regenerative undercurrent. It’s time to flush the toilet at the risk of having it overflow on you; don’t let the toxic waters poison your spring!

Refine your goals and objectives for the next 6 months, see where you can let go of clutter or unnecessary burdens. Think about what you really need and why you are doing the things that you do. Imagine that whatever situation, habit, expense/bill, object, emotion, relationship, pattern that is obscuring your path can now be clearly understood and handled. Know that it will require a lot of discipline and work to do so, but that you are committed and willing to put the efforts needed to regain some free-flowing simplicity in your life. Things will grow where your mind go: focus your attention on what you want to see flourish. Spend  time on Friday morning at the time of the New Moon planting the seeds of your intentions… whatever this might look like for  you.

Have a beautiful, contemplative and clarity inducing week.✨

WEEK OF JANUARY 14, 2019

UNDER THE INFLUENCE

This week, we are basking in the after glow of the Jupiter/Neptune square which was exact Sunday.

The planet Neptune is associated with the desire for transcendence. Jupiter is faith and optimism but also over-inflation.

Think: Cotton-candy clouds, siren calls, romanticism, glamour, rose-coloured glasses, the deep faith that everything will work out, trust at the cost of a more pragmatic approach, over-inflation of dreams and wishes, magic, spirituality, visions and dreams, being aware of synchronicities and omens…

At its worst this aspect can correlate with a strong divine discontent, reality not meeting the expectations we have for ourselves and our specialness or just not seeing reality for what it really is. There can be a tendency for denial, bad choices and ignoring painful truths…

Neptune is often associated with drugs, alcool and substance abuse or getting involved in relationship scenarios where you idealize the person as oppose to seeing who they truly are.

Jupiter square Neptune this year, will be super good for artists, magician and witches as it can be a time of heightened inspirations and cosmic downloads…🔮

Neptune is like an exit door into a fantastical world that has no bottom and Jupiter will come to amplify that.

Something to keep in mind this year as there will be 3 Jupiter-Neptune squares aspect that will colour 2019.

Are you under the influence?

Hylas and the Nymphs by John William Waterhouse.

WHAT DO YOU DO FOR A LIVING?

Depending on your natal chart, you might be picking up on the other big vibe of the moment which is ALL of the heavy-handed action happening in Capricorn. (Saturn, Mercury, Pluto, Sun and South Node in Capricorn)

The sign of Capricorn with its ruler Saturn at home means that we might be hyper conscious of:

Time, time passing, getting older, limitations, responsibilities and obligations, the process of aging (think of that FB trend over the weekend).

There can also be a sort of ”status anxiety” and fears around money, authority, superiority/inferiority complex.

Our society puts a strong emphasis on material success. However, we are now in the midst of sweeping changes in regards to materialism and what it means to ‘’make it in the world’’ and be ‘’secure’’.

People are coming to the realization that consumerism and the capitalist model is destroying life in Earth. That perhaps, a big house, a secure job and 2 cars in the driveway is more of a burden than anything else. It is also creating a lot of anxiety as we adjust to this new awareness.

The deep stirrings of Pluto transiting through Capricorn is removing the false ideas we have about success.

Dissatisfaction will continue to grow louder as we approach the Saturn-Pluto conjunction of January 2020.

While this unsustainable system continues to crumble, it is important to remain aware, that the best inversement you can make is towards your health and strength.

Be pragmatic about what is possible for you this year and start working towards your goals whatever they might be.

Throw your fears of inadequacy into the garbage and stop comparing yourself or competing with others. Root down from within.

FULL MOON IN LEO

On Sunday, the Sun enters the sign of Aquarius and less than 24 hours later we have a FULL MOON at 0º LEO/LUNAR ECLIPSE which is the last one on the Leo/Aquarius axis.

For people with important planets in either Aquarius or Leo, the last 2 years might of brought some important changes and now this is sort of like a culmination of that process coming to a close.

2019 in so many ways is the beginning of a totally NEW ERA and this will become apparent as we progress through the year.

THERE IS NO TURNING BACK so keep moving forward, keep hustling and stay true to yourself!

WEEK OF JANUARY 7, 2019

Happy Monday everyone,

This week, we stand in the reverberations of the New Moon/Solar Eclipse in Capricorn that happened Saturday night which is initiating new trajectories for us.

The area of your chart where Capricorn rules will be undergoing major renovations in the next 2 years. If you have any planets around 15 degrees of Capricorn or Cancer and more extensively Aries or Libra, you can expect to be significantly influenced by the deconstructive qualities of what is happening in Capricorn.

Time, aging, maturity and wisdom through hardship, solitude, melancholia, depression, the limits of our world and generational burdens were all highlighted by the first New Moon/Eclipse of 2019.

Uranus also turned direct in Aries Sunday night which means all the planets are currently direct and Venus just entered the sign of Sagittarius after being in Scorpio for like EVER.

Most of the planets are either in Earth (pragmatism) or Fire (ambition) signs which also means we are itching to get going, make things happened, get on with business and to start slaying our goals for the year ahead.

Mercury in Capricorn square Mars in Aries

The other big aspects permeating the week will be Mercury squaring Mars (exact Tuesday) and the Sun/Pluto conjunction in Capricorn (exact Friday) which augurs some sort of ”heavier than usual” power dynamics influencing the week.

Mercury in Capricorn🔨 squaring Mars in Aries🔥which is exact Tuesday morning can be productive but it can also be a sign of irritability and impatience. If you get into an argument, be prepared for it to escalate quicker than usual as this can indicate a tendency to say think without thinking before hand. It can also indicate a tendency for rushed decision-making or impulsivity.

Perhaps one of the best way to remediate this influence at the beginning of the week could be to have a brainstorming session, think twice before saying or doing something you might regret and or release the tension through physical exercise.

Emergence: Sun/Pluto conjunction in Capricorn

The Sun/Pluto conjunction in Capricorn happening Friday morning happens once a year. Pluto being associated with the underworld and what is hidden gets the full light of the Sun shinning down on him. Pluto is associated with the powers of creation and destruction. He is the guardian of the unconscious. It can be very difficult to bring dark things up into the light and this is why Pluto is often associated with painful transformative experiences.

Revelations of dark secrets, becoming aware of something that had remained hidden, ancestral stories and family dynamics, power dynamic or manipulative tactics become more obvious. Obsession, intensity, control, generational trauma are brought to the surface.

It’s a good time to connect to the source of your ambitions or the source of the stories you tell yourself about your limits, your burdens, your fears to understand where they originate from, and make them more conscious so that you are not controlled by them.

🛑 Special Attention: All day Friday, the Moon will be in Pisces and void of course. If you have important decisions or appointments to make, better book them before Friday or after Friday. As a rule of thumb the void of course Moon means that ”nothing comes out of the matter”. Decision made during this time have a harder time sticking.

Have a wonderful and fulfilling week everyone!

Jupiter & Mars in Scorpio: Fixated & Transfixed

MARS IN SCORPIO

Mars in Scorpio is seemingly immovable while simultaneously thriving in changing circumstances. How can this be? It pushes against anything that resists while resisting all changes. This resistance offers the power, but power has a cost and something must be sacrificed, mainly: safety.

Power is gathered slowly here, but one must know exactly when and how to strike. Resisting too long increases the risk of putrefaction, but a festering state can be a fertile terrain for metamorphosis. Sometime one must be pushed to decompose in order to connect with the raw powers of renewal.

“It was all a lie, it all stank, stank of lies,
it all gave the illusion of meaning and happiness and beauty,
and all of it was just putrefaction that no one would admit to.
Bitter was the taste of the world. Life was a torment.”
-Hermann Hesse

GROWING PAINS

Mars and Jupiter are together in Scorpio right now, which reflects these themes or resistance and surrender. There is a desire for an honest narrative, a genuine experience , true connections, and the bullshit radar is cranked on high. The wounds are magnified and we are aiming our fires directly at them in order to cauterised the open sores.

The part of your chart where Scorpio is found is under tremendous pressure to transform. Whatever has expired at this point is obvious, although it might be the only thing you want to hold on to. It can feel familiar to live with problems, it can even be comforting giving you meaning and purpose. However, familiarity is not necessarily productive and with Saturn, the Sun, Venus, and Pluto in Capricorn right now, we are looking to build solid foundations while destroying the old structures.

Capricorn ambition ushered us into the New Year. Capricorns are famous for being hard on themselves. The list of future accomplishments is long and our plans to secure success could border on zealousness. There is a changing of the guards. The grip is strong and the answer lies in what we are resisting, or what is resisting us. This process is slow and painful, but the rocks need to be removed first before we can plant the seeds.

Great ambition is the passion of a great character.
Those endowed with it may perform very good or very bad acts.
All depends on the principles which direct them.
-Napoleon Bonaparte
