FULL MOON IN VIRGO

Painting by Frida Kahlo

“The soul always knows what to do to heal itself. The challenge is to silence the mind.”
 Caroline Myss

The Moon is in Leo to begin the week and will be Full upon entering Virgo, Tuesday morning at 10:54am ET.

This is a a very auspicious Full Moon as it will conjunct Fixed Star Regulus at zero degrees of Virgo. This Full Moon illuminates issues around criticism versus self-acceptance and perhaps where in our lives we need to heal, feel whole finding a more holistic approach in our overall routine, patterns, physical, mental and spiritual habits.

This Full Moon illuminates, magnify, cleanse, purify our comprehension of what it means to heal; understanding that to be useful, to know our place, and to find purpose, one must first be of service to their body which is the temple and vehicle of the spirit.

Understanding also that to be useful, to know our place, and to find purpose, one must be of service to to this Earth which provides sustenance and gives us food which feeds our body.

Mercury joins Neptune to begin the week and this is the first of 3 conjunction (because of Mercury retrograde). Next ones will be on the 24th of March and the 3rd of April.

Pay attention to clues revealed this week around poison and toxicity. Weather this is something you are ingesting, a guilty pleasure, a mental habit, a place, or a draining person, this aspect combined with the Full Moon could reveal to you some of your posions…..what is poisoning you.

Chiron also just entered Aries to begin the week (at 4:09 ET) after being in Pisces since 2010. This is a major shift as Chiron is associated with pain, healing and where we feel vulnerable and raw.
Some self-undoing habits or patterns might become super obvious to you (if not already), and with Chiron (the great healer and teacher) changing signs, priorities will really start shifting.

Look to where Aries sit in your chart to understand where this will be taking place. Chiron entering the Cardinal sign of Aries will most affect people with important Cardinal planets (Aries, Libra, Cancer, Capricorn)

Have a wholesome and healing Full Moon, enjoy the changing tides.

The Moon is in Virgo today.

There are many planets in mutable signs at the moment.
Meaning there are a lot of changes in the air and you could feel scattered.
A great way to stay grounded would be to use this time to de-clutter and organize your space.
Nourish and exercise your body well-to move through these times.

Native born under the Virgo Moon live with an ideal of perfection that can be hard to reach.This feeling of never being good enough can be a real hindrance if not kept in check.
Health can also be of great concern and they can go from being extremely strict with themselves, to total indulgence. With their sharp eye for details, the Virgo Moon individual can be an excellent craftsmen/craftswomen. They are dedicated and patient workers and love to feel useful.

Ashes and Snow by Gregory Colbert

Let your instinctual shadows
Turn into the words that
you whisper
in your morning prayers
A ritual offering to your fears

Let the darkness seep through
And witness how it becomes wind
Let it be
a stepping stone
a work in progress
a servant without chains

Enter the wild places within you
Like you enter the forest
Humble and open
without apologies
You are the hunter
and you are the prey
There is no perfection
And that in itself is
perfect

The Moon in Virgo Man

Man of this earth,

Your hands are busy crafting, shaping ideas into forms

Touching wood, feeling for perfection

Turning romance into a work in progress

Your habits becomes an hymn

Whisper in my ear, your to-do list,

messages from the gods.

A healthy dose of fresh air, makes you a careful lover.

The Sun is setting, you make a fire

with your hands, you shape tomorrow.

There is a lot of work to be done

and you will rise with the Sun

birds chirping and all.

Moon in Virgo meditation

One principle we must grasp,
Otherwise no development will be possible in our crucial time.398px-Candle
Seek the truly practical life
but seek it in a way
that does not numb you towards the Spirit that is working in it.
Seek the Spirit,
but do no seek it out of greed for the supersensible,
from supersensible egoism;
but seek it, because you want to apply it
unselfishly in practical life, in the material world.
Make use of the ancient principle:
“Spirit is never without matter, matter never without Spirit.”
So that you say:
We intend to handle all material matters in the light of the Spirit,
And we shall seek the light of the Spirit in such a way
That it will kindle in us a warmth for our practical deeds.
Spirit that is led into matter by us;
Matter that is shaped by us until it reveals the Spirit it contains;
Matter that receives through us the Spirit revealed;
The Spirit that is brought by us to and into matter;
All this will build that active and vivid substance
Which can take humanity into real development;
Into that kind of progress that the people of today
In the deepest and most worthy longings of their souls
Can only but yearn for.

– Rudolf Steiner
