FULL MOON IN VIRGO

Painting by Frida Kahlo

“The soul always knows what to do to heal itself. The challenge is to silence the mind.”
 Caroline Myss

The Moon is in Leo to begin the week and will be Full upon entering Virgo, Tuesday morning at 10:54am ET.

This is a a very auspicious Full Moon as it will conjunct Fixed Star Regulus at zero degrees of Virgo. This Full Moon illuminates issues around criticism versus self-acceptance and perhaps where in our lives we need to heal, feel whole finding a more holistic approach in our overall routine, patterns, physical, mental and spiritual habits.

This Full Moon illuminates, magnify, cleanse, purify our comprehension of what it means to heal; understanding that to be useful, to know our place, and to find purpose, one must first be of service to their body which is the temple and vehicle of the spirit.

Understanding also that to be useful, to know our place, and to find purpose, one must be of service to to this Earth which provides sustenance and gives us food which feeds our body.

Mercury joins Neptune to begin the week and this is the first of 3 conjunction (because of Mercury retrograde). Next ones will be on the 24th of March and the 3rd of April.

Pay attention to clues revealed this week around poison and toxicity. Weather this is something you are ingesting, a guilty pleasure, a mental habit, a place, or a draining person, this aspect combined with the Full Moon could reveal to you some of your posions…..what is poisoning you.

Chiron also just entered Aries to begin the week (at 4:09 ET) after being in Pisces since 2010. This is a major shift as Chiron is associated with pain, healing and where we feel vulnerable and raw.
Some self-undoing habits or patterns might become super obvious to you (if not already), and with Chiron (the great healer and teacher) changing signs, priorities will really start shifting.

Look to where Aries sit in your chart to understand where this will be taking place. Chiron entering the Cardinal sign of Aries will most affect people with important Cardinal planets (Aries, Libra, Cancer, Capricorn)

Have a wholesome and healing Full Moon, enjoy the changing tides.

WEEK OF JANUARY 14, 2019

UNDER THE INFLUENCE

This week, we are basking in the after glow of the Jupiter/Neptune square which was exact Sunday.

The planet Neptune is associated with the desire for transcendence. Jupiter is faith and optimism but also over-inflation.

Think: Cotton-candy clouds, siren calls, romanticism, glamour, rose-coloured glasses, the deep faith that everything will work out, trust at the cost of a more pragmatic approach, over-inflation of dreams and wishes, magic, spirituality, visions and dreams, being aware of synchronicities and omens…

At its worst this aspect can correlate with a strong divine discontent, reality not meeting the expectations we have for ourselves and our specialness or just not seeing reality for what it really is. There can be a tendency for denial, bad choices and ignoring painful truths…

Neptune is often associated with drugs, alcool and substance abuse or getting involved in relationship scenarios where you idealize the person as oppose to seeing who they truly are.

Jupiter square Neptune this year, will be super good for artists, magician and witches as it can be a time of heightened inspirations and cosmic downloads…🔮

Neptune is like an exit door into a fantastical world that has no bottom and Jupiter will come to amplify that.

Something to keep in mind this year as there will be 3 Jupiter-Neptune squares aspect that will colour 2019.

Are you under the influence?

WHAT DO YOU DO FOR A LIVING?

Depending on your natal chart, you might be picking up on the other big vibe of the moment which is ALL of the heavy-handed action happening in Capricorn. (Saturn, Mercury, Pluto, Sun and South Node in Capricorn)

The sign of Capricorn with its ruler Saturn at home means that we might be hyper conscious of:

Time, time passing, getting older, limitations, responsibilities and obligations, the process of aging (think of that FB trend over the weekend).

There can also be a sort of ”status anxiety” and fears around money, authority, superiority/inferiority complex.

Our society puts a strong emphasis on material success. However, we are now in the midst of sweeping changes in regards to materialism and what it means to ‘’make it in the world’’ and be ‘’secure’’.

People are coming to the realization that consumerism and the capitalist model is destroying life in Earth. That perhaps, a big house, a secure job and 2 cars in the driveway is more of a burden than anything else. It is also creating a lot of anxiety as we adjust to this new awareness.

The deep stirrings of Pluto transiting through Capricorn is removing the false ideas we have about success.

Dissatisfaction will continue to grow louder as we approach the Saturn-Pluto conjunction of January 2020.

While this unsustainable system continues to crumble, it is important to remain aware, that the best inversement you can make is towards your health and strength.

Be pragmatic about what is possible for you this year and start working towards your goals whatever they might be.

Throw your fears of inadequacy into the garbage and stop comparing yourself or competing with others. Root down from within.

FULL MOON IN LEO

On Sunday, the Sun enters the sign of Aquarius and less than 24 hours later we have a FULL MOON at 0º LEO/LUNAR ECLIPSE which is the last one on the Leo/Aquarius axis.

For people with important planets in either Aquarius or Leo, the last 2 years might of brought some important changes and now this is sort of like a culmination of that process coming to a close.

2019 in so many ways is the beginning of a totally NEW ERA and this will become apparent as we progress through the year.

THERE IS NO TURNING BACK so keep moving forward, keep hustling and stay true to yourself!

To celebrate the Gemini Full Moon which will be exact tonight at 17:44 EST, I want to inundate you with some fun facts.

-Did you know that our body fluids have the same mineral composition as seawater?
Our blood, lymphatic fluid and intracellular fluid or plasma (the colorless fluid part of the blood), contains all one hundred or so minerals and trace elements that exist in the ocean. Just imagine, the necessary life-giving elements that circulate in the ocean currents, are the very same elements, and in very similar concentrations, that flow through our veins. (Sea Water, Organic Substance, 1987)

That means we carry the ocean inside of us!

-The menstrual cycle in reproductive-age women lasts about 28 days, which is similar to the length of a lunar phase (29 days and change). A study published in the journal Acta Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica tracked more than 800 women for up to 25 years and found that almost 30 percent of women had their periods around the Full Moon.

-The alternating pattern of rising and falling sea level with respect to land is what we know as the tides. What causes this “motion of the ocean”? In one word, gravity. Specifically, the gravitational forces of the Sun and Moon. The key to understanding how the tides work is understanding the relationship between the motion of our planet and the Moon and Sun. As the Earth spins on its own axis, ocean water is kept at equal levels around the planet by the Earth’s gravity pulling inward and centrifugal force pushing outward.

However, the Moon’s gravitational forces are strong enough to disrupt this balance by accelerating the water towards the Moon.

So, let me conclude with this question:

Our body fluids have the same mineral composition as seawater, and the rising and falling sea level is influenced by the gravitational pull of the Moon. Does that mean that the Moon might have some sort of influence on us?

Full Moon @ 13º Scorpio- May 3

The potential with this Full Moon is for the exploration  of the darker or hidden corners of our soul, mining for what could be transformed into precious jewels. What secrets are you hiding? What motivate you? Is it power, money, lust, passion, the desire for control? How do you use your personal power? Is your sexual magnetism use for good or for ill? What ways of being are you ready to let go? What is aching to come into your awareness? What lurks behind closed-door? How do you manage the deeper issues in your life?

Now is a good time to reach down to the buried parts of yourself, digging them out and getting rid of the rotten parts and perhaps embracing the vulnerabilities and wounds that makes you, YOU! The wounds can also be where the light enters.

”Anything suppressed gathers the energy it takes for it to be withheld. Energy can never be destroyed and nothing stays in hiding forever. Anything suppressed actually becomes stronger, perhaps in a disfigured, near unrecognizable way.” -Chani Nicholas

Full Love

On Saturday, there is a Full Moon-Lunar Eclipse in the sign of Libra. Relationships are on the radar but the Libra-Aries axis speaks not only of ”me” versus ”you” or ”us”, it also speaks of the relationship to ourselves. Balancing the scales also means taking the time to enter fully in a relationship to ourselves. To be loving, caring and generous within a relationship, one has to know how to give it to themselves. And from that starting point, shine it outwards. Once you have understood that principle, no one can ever take love away from you. Love originates from the center of your being and not as something outside of yourself. It is the starting point.

I leave you with a poem that Mystic Medusa shared this morning on her Facebook page:

The time will come
when, with elation,
you will greet yourself arriving
at your own door, in your own mirror,
and each will smile at the other’s welcome
and say, sit here. Eat. You will love again the stranger who was your self.
Give wine. Give bread. Give back your heart
to itself, to the stranger who has loved you
all your life, whom you have ignored
for another, who knows you by heart.
Take down the love letters from the bookshelf,
the photographs, the desperate notes,
peel your own image from the mirror.
Sit. Feast on your life.
