Venus/South Node in Pisces at the moment. Have some compassion for yourself. It can feel like a strange mixture of love and disgust all at once. Some ugliness will surface and that’s fine. It’s a bit confusing and it might seem like the light is there but somehow just out of reach. Tolerance and patience for whatever state of mind you find yourself in will help. No need to jump to conclusion about your shortcomings or some other imagined faults. It might hurt a little but there is no need to nail yourself to the cross. You’re going to be ok.
The Aries season is officially on. The return of the light for us here in the northern hemisphere means the return of life. Everything is slowly waking up, including us. The urge is to forge ahead, break new ground and create a new set of circumstances. You could feel like you are full of new ideas/momentum for the future and ready to go! You might also feel like things are not moving fast enough.
Venus is lingering in the sign of Pisces triggering the recent eclipse material and she will conjunct Chiron on Wednesday. There is a need to integrate older material (crap) that surfaced or perhaps completely let it go. Venus in Pisces support us in doing so with full awareness and compassion not only for ourselves but for others. It’s a great week to integrate past hurts without staying stuck in the quagmire.
This is definitely a time of evolution so don’t linger too long in your wounds but move with the awareness of why you are doing what you do and where you are going. Take the time to process your recent realisations or experiences. You can forge ahead towards new territories, but still very much be fueled by the past and by what came before. Remember WHY you are doing what you do and this will help you progress.
The Jupiter/Saturn square is still on – slowing down progress and asking us for a full detailed report. Advancement is possible but it has to be slow and deliberate.
In a broader sense there is a clash between philosophical/political/religious/spiritual ideas and a general cacophony of voices on the public stages. The urge to take a strong stance to defend our beliefs is definitely one signature of this Jupiter/Saturn square.
Whatever transitional space you find yourself in, remember that perspective and flexibility are your best assets and stay cool.
The Sun will be in the mystical waters of Pisces from February 19 to March 20th. Reality takes on a different meaning here and our attention turns towards altruistic and compassionate ideals. There can be an increased sensitivity to the suffering of the less fortunate. This time period before spring, marks the shedding of the less desirable qualities like selfishness in favour of empathy and devotion.
Here we meet the dreamers, the poets, the mystics and the seekers of truth who trade the burdens of reality for a seed of eternal wisdom.
Today, Neptune goes direct. The big astrological event of the month is the Saturn/Neptune square that is intensifying. It will be exact on November 26. A lot of astrologers have written extensively about this aspect. One of the most obvious manifestation being the current debate over the refugee crisis. The concern for security and boundaries (Saturn) versus the ideal compassionate response we should have. (Neptune)
To understand how this square is affecting you, locate where Saturn and Neptune are transiting in your chart. These will be the areas in your life, where you may need a realistic appraisal of the situation. Conversely, it is where your dreams are trying to take shape, where the ideal and the real are colliding. How much work will it take?
Barry Perlman at Astrobarry has done a great job of delineating the upcoming aspect.
”Practically speaking, this Saturn-Neptune square forces us to acknowledge where our wishful thinking, overly idealistic attitude, or self-deluding naiveté has muddled our decision-making. We cannot effectively head a certain direction as long as we’re also clinging to motivation-depleting habits, energy-sucking relationships, tortured souls we’re trying to rescue, pie-in-the-sky notions about work or money, or unhealthy familial patterns which inaccurately define us, holding us back.”
