FULL MOON IN VIRGO

Painting by Frida Kahlo

“The soul always knows what to do to heal itself. The challenge is to silence the mind.”
 Caroline Myss

The Moon is in Leo to begin the week and will be Full upon entering Virgo, Tuesday morning at 10:54am ET.

This is a a very auspicious Full Moon as it will conjunct Fixed Star Regulus at zero degrees of Virgo. This Full Moon illuminates issues around criticism versus self-acceptance and perhaps where in our lives we need to heal, feel whole finding a more holistic approach in our overall routine, patterns, physical, mental and spiritual habits.

This Full Moon illuminates, magnify, cleanse, purify our comprehension of what it means to heal; understanding that to be useful, to know our place, and to find purpose, one must first be of service to their body which is the temple and vehicle of the spirit.

Understanding also that to be useful, to know our place, and to find purpose, one must be of service to to this Earth which provides sustenance and gives us food which feeds our body.

Mercury joins Neptune to begin the week and this is the first of 3 conjunction (because of Mercury retrograde). Next ones will be on the 24th of March and the 3rd of April.

Pay attention to clues revealed this week around poison and toxicity. Weather this is something you are ingesting, a guilty pleasure, a mental habit, a place, or a draining person, this aspect combined with the Full Moon could reveal to you some of your posions…..what is poisoning you.

Chiron also just entered Aries to begin the week (at 4:09 ET) after being in Pisces since 2010. This is a major shift as Chiron is associated with pain, healing and where we feel vulnerable and raw.
Some self-undoing habits or patterns might become super obvious to you (if not already), and with Chiron (the great healer and teacher) changing signs, priorities will really start shifting.

Look to where Aries sit in your chart to understand where this will be taking place. Chiron entering the Cardinal sign of Aries will most affect people with important Cardinal planets (Aries, Libra, Cancer, Capricorn)

Have a wholesome and healing Full Moon, enjoy the changing tides.

Victims and Survivors

The Aries season is officially on. The return of the light for us here in the northern hemisphere means the return of life. Everything is slowly waking up, including us. The urge is to forge ahead, break new ground and create a new set of circumstances. You could feel like you are full of new ideas/momentum for the future and ready to go! You might also feel like things are not moving fast enough.

Venus is lingering in the sign of Pisces triggering the recent eclipse material and she will conjunct Chiron on Wednesday. There is a need to integrate older material (crap) that surfaced or perhaps completely let it go. Venus in Pisces support us in doing so with full awareness and compassion not only for ourselves but for others. It’s a great week to integrate past hurts without staying stuck in the quagmire.

This is definitely a time of evolution so don’t linger too long in your wounds but move with the awareness of why you are doing what you do and where you are going. Take the time to process your recent realisations or experiences. You can forge ahead towards new territories, but still very much be fueled by the past and by what came before. Remember WHY you are doing what you do and this will help you progress.

The Jupiter/Saturn square is still on – slowing down progress and asking us for a full detailed report. Advancement is possible but it has to be slow and deliberate.

In a broader sense there is a clash between philosophical/political/religious/spiritual ideas and a general cacophony of voices on the public stages. The urge to take a strong stance to defend our beliefs is definitely one signature of this Jupiter/Saturn square.

Whatever transitional space you find yourself in, remember that perspective and flexibility are your best assets and stay cool.
xx

New Moon in Sagittarius: The Temple

NEW MOON @ 19º SAGITTARIUS Friday December 11 2015 at 5:29 AM EST

Passenger what are you searching for
What is this longing I see in your gaze
Unknown shadows are dancing in your eyes
In the distant regions of your heart
Something is calling
to be born
The ride has been arduous
But you’ve held on
With everything that you had
You made it this far

You have learned the rhythms of your pain
You can recite them in your sleep
You built a temple and gave thanks to your fears
Laboured at the feet of giants
for a meager return

You found a key for the wrong door and you kept searching

Like a pilgrim looking in the distance
You can see the road ahead
There is no signs, no oasis and no one
But a vision
guiding your steps

one by one

Traveler where are you going?

Active surrendering when night takes over

The Sun is in Scorpio and the Moon is in Gemini favouring research and technical knowledge. Gemini is connected to the polarities that comes from navigating opposite truths, seeing that we are both masculine and feminine in essence. Witnessing the dualities of what the mind knows and what the heart desires and the versatility that comes from holding opposites perspectives. Accepting that there are many answers and even more questions.

The revelations of Tuesday’s Full Moon around our bodies and what is required of us to maintain maximum health are slowly sinking in. Diseases and a the need to heal is a big theme at the moment.

The end of October highlights the fight between light and darkness as we prepare to enter the winter season.

The truth is we know that our bodies are not eternal and that we are slowly moving towards a final destination. But we also want to maximize our experience while we are here by making sure our container is functioning to its full capacity. Knowing that we are mortal makes us want to indulge and find pleasure while we also know that bad habits brings sickness. We can feel overwhelmed by the amount of knowledge that still needs to be grasped or anxiety around not knowing.

We might be aware of both our mortality and the desire for continuity that motivates our actions. The need to accept or heal, the need for both light and darkness. Embracing our femininity while honoring our masculine side and surrendering actively to life and her process.

SUN IN VIRGO-MOON IN PISCES CONJUNCT CHIRON

01

What are the stories of pain written in your body and in your mind?
How silent are they?
How loud are they?
Do you cherish them by telling their stories?
Are you walking at the altar of your pain
worshiping it like a god?
How much space does it occupy and how does it serve you?

Honor the pain and then let it go
It is not for you to keep.
It is a teacher and a mentor
But it’s not yours.

If today you decided to leave some of it behind
How would that look like?
