Catching your breath as the future you

JUPITER-SATURN CYCLE IN AIR SIGNS

Saturn transiting in Aquarius since 2020 ushered us into a 200-year Air period cycle which is determined by Jupiter and Saturn only forming their conjunctions in Air signs for the next 200 years. Jupiter and Saturn met in the Air sign of Libra in 1980-81 and
Air Period themes have to a certain extent been permeating the cultural landscape for a long time. However it wasn’t until December 20th, 2020 when Saturn and Jupiter met in Aquarius that the Air Triplicity shift ”officially” occurred.

We now have fully exited a 200 year Earth Period Cycle and although the last two years were very static (thanks to Saturn transiting in the Fixed sign of Aquarius) they also served as a quantum portal into new ways of being in the world.

We are still humans with all of our human complexities, however we may very well be on our way of becoming very different humans on a biological and energetic level. What we ingest has been changing us in unexpected ways and as we move forward, reality may not work exactly as it did before. We have been initiated into an Air paradigm, foreign to your grand-parents, your great grand-parents and the archaic crumbling hierarchical structures that run our societies. There is still much to discover about this Air period and how it works and we can only speculate on the extent of the changes upon us especially in regards to technology, our ‘‘natural humanness”, and how these two things combined are shaping our future. There is no reason to fear or resist these changes and yet we may have to be more deliberate with our consciousness and where we invest our attention as we move forward. I believe many of us are coming to grips with that realization especially as it relates to social media and the impact of technology on our bodies.

In a sense, what’s happening is that the unconscious mind is a luxury the human species cannot afford at this point in our dilemma, and so the unconscious mind is simply rising into consciousness by being hardwired into this global infrastructure.

Terence McKenna

The Air signs (Aquarius, Gemini, Libra) are said to be conceptual, dynamic or ”yang”, relating more to the intellect and the realm of ideas. Air signs excel with abstractions, linking concepts into theories with the right amount of detachment to bring about objective visions and perspectives that functions better when applied to the whole as oppose to the individual level. The Air signs allows for the experience of abstract constructs, ideas and networks which means it also becomes much easier to reside within them. We have entered a space where multiplicity is part of the game and reality may be as malleable and multi-layered as what we focus our attention on. This is always the case but the Air period may emphasize consciousness in ways we have only dreamed of so far in our life time.

Our online experiences and personas are now overlapping with our everyday awareness in ways that are hard to observe consciously. It is becoming increasingly hard to know if our cravings and desires are arising from within or if they are subliminally suggested to us via our online experience; We are becoming hackable humans.

Technology is now overlapping with reality in ways that emphasize how our internal landscapes are projected onto material reality and how our experiences of so called ”reality” is reactive to our internal dialogues. Technology, your phone, your smart watch/home/car/fridge/vacuum, social media, the internet, is filling your awareness with more images and information than your mind could ever process consciously which blurs the lines between the material, the virtual, the conceptual and everything in-between. Our ability to communicate and share information with anyone instantly is also emphasizing our inherent interconnectedness and increasing the speed at which people experience psy phenomenons like telepathy, pre-cognition and apparent synchronicities. Even our experience of time is on the verge of changing, revealing itself to be non-linear in ways which are usually only theorized about but not necessarily experienced.

CAPRICORN SOLSTICE 2022

This upcoming Capricorn Season starting on Winter Solstice is ruled by Saturn in Aquarius and I think it will offer us important integrative moments in regards to the events of the past two years and allow us to catch our breath and root down more solidly before Saturn enters Pisces on March 7th, 2023 and more extensively before Pluto enters Aquarius on March 23rd, 2023 after having been in Capricorn since 2008!!

Pluto leaving Capricorn may also bring to a close an important chapter that began in your life around 2008. The ingress of Pluto into Aquarius is very much part of this larger Air Period shift we are moving through and although we will not be able to know in our life time the impact of this 200 year Air-cycle, Astrology allows us to speculate on some of the forms that could emerge that relates to the Air element, and what kind of societal and cultural shift we could expect. As of right now, it looks like some of these shifts may in part have to do with managing our consciousness while being augmented and influenced by technologies.

This year’s New Moon in Capricorn arrives on the 23rd of December, only a few days after Jupiter’s ingress into Aries on the 20th and the Sun’s entry into Capricorn on the 21st. The New Moon takes place in the very first degrees of Capricorn and forms a square to Jupiter in Aries; two Cardinal signs that bring extremely dynamic initiating powers to this lunation.

Mercury station retrograde in Capricorn on the 29th of December and Venus meets Pluto in Capricorn on New Year’s Day which may bring up some of the themes you were wrestling with last year at this time while Venus was moving retrograde in Capricorn. I do think that this particular Mercury retrograde in Capricorn (29th of December to January 18th, 2023) could offer much needed integration in preparation for the important changes coming in 2023. It will get increasingly easier to let go of things that have been hard to dislodge in the past two years and 2023 will bring some important astrological shifts starting in March 2023.

To be continued….

”There is no contradiction between technology and spirit. There is no contradiction between the search for intellectual integration and understanding and the psychedelic experience. There is no contradiction between ultra-advanced hyper-spacial cyber culture and Paleolithic archaic culture. We have come to the end of our sojourn in matter. We have come to the end of our separateness.”

FULL MOON IN CAPRICORN: Fabricated Worlds

This week’s astrology highlights the transitional period we find ourselves in and the bigger tectonic shifts occurring in our world which is reflected by the movement of the planets.

There are a lot of overlapping aspects some of which have to do with the past and some which are a preview of things to come in the near future.

On a mundane level, the Full Moon in Capricorn sheds light on the old systems and societal constructs which have been on their way out for quite some time and slowly being replaced by the promise of the 200 year Air period which is upon us.

It would be too simplistic to isolate this Full Moon in Capricorn as being only relevant for this week, when we are amidst such foundational changes on a collective level. Things may look the same but deep down you may feel yourself, your priorities, and the world around you changing in surprising ways.

Pluto, planet of underworld transformation, has been traveling in Capricorn since 2008 and is about to enter the Air sign of Aquarius in the Spring of 2023. Pluto in Capricorn has done a fine job of exposing corrupt structures, especially since it came into a conjunction with Saturn in January of 2020 which saw the culmination of power-grabbing corporations hijacking the collective into a forced big-pharma coup, while shepherding consciousness into a collective virtual hallucination in order to contain, monitor, and profit from the masses.

Being ruled by Saturn, Capricorn has a lot to do with reality and accountability. Things are the way they are because x,y,z whether you like it or not. You can get with the program or you can move deeper into the hallucination while being coddled by ‘’The Powers that be Inc.’’

Saturn is currently transiting in Aquarius which is paving the way for Pluto’s entry next year into the sign of the Water Bearer. We are getting a glimpse of what it means to be moving through a triplicity shift (Earth to Air period) interacting with artificial intelligence and absorbing information and knowledge at an increasingly rapid pace. Our lives are being augmented by the quick synapses of AI, while we are coming to grasp with the deeper implications of the planned obsolescence of consumer culture and the industrialization of our food and nature.

The Full Moon in Capricorn sheds light on these themes as we slowly extricate ourselves from the dreams of our predecessors which held the suburban-nuclear-family-two-car-driveway-retirement-fund fantasy as the peak of success.

Chiron in Aries is a big player in the current astrology and offers healing, especially where you may have felt castrated out of your will and personal autonomy. It is not so much about giving up or being a victim but more so about surrendering to the pain in order to understand where it is coming from. Take your deepest dissatisfactions, frustrations and lay them in front of you. What are they made of? What is it trying to show you? Where is your power resting? Is it in your hands? Who is doing the dreaming?

Venus in Gemini forms a trine with Saturn in Aquarius while also squaring Neptune in Pisces. We can grow and benefit from the connections we make in the virtual world but the virtual world can easily become more real than the real world. We are walking a fine line between thinking that we are in control versus being influenced by things that bypass our conscious awareness. Where we focus our attention has never been so convoluted. Our body cannot differentiate between the experiences of the virtual world versus the experiences of the real world. We are saying goodbye to a way of being while thinking ourselves into the multiplicity of this 200 year Air period with all that it entails. Can you keep up?

Uranus in Taurus is and will continue to be activated in the weeks to come urging us out of our familiar comfort zone, prompting us to push on the boundaries of what we think is possible. If you feel compelled to think outside of the box, you are on the right track! The power is in your hands or is it?

“Television is by nature the dominator drug par excellence. Control of content, uniformity of content, repeatability of content make it inevitably a tool of coersion, brainwashing, and manipulation.”

NEW MOON IN AQUARIUS

The week began with Mercury in Aquarius meeting the Sun which marks the half way point of its retrograde cycle. Mercury’s inferior conjunction with the Sun can represent a time of illumination and breakthroughs. You may be able to get back to an idea that started to emerge in mid-January or at least gain some traction with your thinking. Stay aligned with what your intuition is telling you.

Mercury in Aquarius is also applying to square Mars in Taurus, exact on Wednesday. The square between Mercury rx and Mars can bring arguments or tense situations to surface. Mercury square Mars can also be associated with rash thinking or jumping to conclusion too quickly. You may want things to happen faster than they can or be caught between what you want to do, versus what is possible which can feel frustrating. Much of the astrology of this whole year is about applying the right kind of pressure for things to evolve while also being aware of the breaking point. We also have to keep in mind that Mercury is still retrograde until the 20th.

The New Moon in Aquarius takes place on Thursday for a total of six planets transiting in Aquarius. The New Moon is a time of inception and with six planets in Aquarius, there is a lot of momentum available, especially in connection with the house where Aquarius sits in your chart. Just keep in mind that it will take time and probably some mental gymnastic to get where you want to go. Be open to changing your perception. You may also feel like you need more space than usual to process your thoughts and do your own thing, just don’t shut down people entirely as we truly need each other more than ever in order to create smaller networks of people who can provide each other with different services. We won’t be able to depend on the big corporation monopolizing the world right now and keep our autonomy simultaneously. Lets support the people as much as we can.

Venus conjunct Jupiter on Thursday morning which could help smooth out recent tensions you may have experienced. The conjunction of Venus and Jupiter can be harmonizing and bring the optimism we need to believe that things will all work out in the end. The Moon enters Pisces on Friday and could even magnify the conjunction of the two benefic planets, bringing some smooth sailing into the weekend.

WEEK OF JANUARY 18th: THE SUN ENTERS AQUARIUS

The Sun enters Aquarius on Tuesday and the First Quarter Moon in Taurus arrives on Wednesday triggering the Mars/Uranus conjunction which is exact Wednesday evening in the East. We can expect this First Quarter Moon to highlight inherent tensions that have been building up since the end of 2020.

We are being challenged by the new forms and awareness emerging and it may be nearly impossible to reconcile our budding desires with our immediate restrictions at this time while we try to give our visions and obligations equal importance. You can look at the areas where Aquarius and Taurus sits in your chart to gain some perspective. Uranus in Taurus is pushing for new forms to emerge which requires freedom, independence and/or total liberation from the old forms, while the hyper-emphasis in Aquarius (because of Saturn, Jupiter, the Sun, Mercury and soon Venus all in Aquarius) highlights where you may be feeling like you need a solid plan for things to improve. You may feel blocked by circumstances outside of your control or need to spend time carefully planning. Things will take time. This tension will continue to be felt for the rest of 2021 but may be more present heading into this super concentrated Aquarius season.

On Saturday, the Sun conjunct Saturn in Aquarius which carries a sobering or realistic tone after the explosive and less compromising aspects of mid-week. You may need to temper your momentum or desires to break free at the risk of having to take sobering remedial measures down the road. On the other hand, you may need to break free of what is restricting you in order to pursue or evolve out of a stale situation.

Mercury is preparing to turn retrograde in less than two weeks and already transiting on the degrees where it will be moving back in a few weeks meaning that what we are itching to get done now, may realistically take a bit longer or we may be forced to revise again later.

This is a time of innovation when we can start to conceptualise new ways of doing thing but we also do not have much leg room so we basically need to find innovative ways to get the spaciousness that we crave while patiently biding our time.

GROW• GLOW• SHIMMER: NEW MOON IN LEO

Bruce Pennington, 1973

The month of July ends with a New Moon in Leo which will be exact at 23:12 EDT on July 31st. A few minutes later, Mercury stations direct in Cancer after being retrograde since the 7th of July. The New Moon in Leo and Mercury direct initiates us into the month of August, on the other side of eclipse season and in the bright light of the Sun who is at home in the sign of Leo.

→ Look to where the New Moon in Leo is taking place in your birth chart to understand where the focus is  for this upcoming lunation. The Full Moon in Aquarius on August 14 will see a culmination in the opposite house to where Leo sits and you can expect the next few weeks to highlight both the Leo and Aquarius house topics in your chart.

After a month of gestation, we enter a period of rationality and brilliance which will allow us to study in clear daylight, the pearls of wisdom that were birthed in the eclipses shadows. The intuitive epiphanies regarding certain roadblocks and detours inherited from the past, and the revelations contained in our personal biographies can now be observed with a certain lucid detachment as a fresh chapter emerges on the horizon. The page is blank, the fruits are ripped, and fresh intentions are being initiated with the conviction that we really do deserve the best of the best.

Honour and pride is on the menu in the first half of August. Leo season is a time of courage and conviction, of stepping up to the plate and having the guts of embodying your role with confidence. Now is a time for recognizing your accomplishments, your worth, and to show up with your best face on, trusting that you know exactly how its done.

Shimmering sparkles arising from the light – hypnotizing with a fiery glow – a magnetizing charisma containing the warmth of love and attraction. Thirsty, the seeker extends a hand towards the object of power –  hoping to catch its radiance and become a God.

Jupiter stations direct in Sagittarius on August 11, after being retrograde since mid-April and this should help boost our confidence level. On the same day, Mercury enters Leo setting the ego ablaze as Uranus turn retrograde in Taurus until next eclipse season in January 2020.

Micheal Heizer

The Full Moon in Aquarius takes place on August 14, just as Venus in Leo reaches her superior conjunction moving behind the Sun. This marks the time when Venus transition from the morning to evening sky. Venus will be visible as a bright evening “star” in the sky after sunset in September and October 2019.

The Full Moon in Aquarius brings a culmination in regards to our own needs and desires versus the desires of the whole. Certain people might be accused of selfishness during this time as we try to reconcile our values with the values of others. Venusian matters will certainly be on our mind in mid-August and a division could be felt in regards to the practical versus the superfluous. We might feel more indulgent and deserving and this could create some friction with others who are also trying to get their piece of cake. Brash and dramatic displays of superiority are also possible as egos collide; even if you know best, you might not be heard in the cacophony of roars.

Mars enters Virgo on August 18, followed by Venus on August 21st, and the Sun on August 23rd. The second half of the month will contain a lot more planets in Earth elements bringing pragmatism to our ambitions, and practical steps to reach our goals. The heated passions being felt in the first weeks of August will find proper outlets by the end of the month as we slowly come back down to Earth with the gifts of Fire. The last week of August sees a Mars/Venus conjunction in Virgo supported by a trine to Uranus; you will know exactly what to do and how to do it.

Love and passion, passion and beauty, beauty and lust, lust and novelty, novelty and pleasure, pleasure and discovery, discovery and freedom, freedom and connection, connection and soul.

The New Moon in Virgo takes place early on August 30th at 6 degrees of Virgo signalling fresh momentum in the part of your chart where Virgo is located. This should be a fantastic lunation to organize and take care of details that were ignored in the last few months. Delineating a schedule or a plan for your goals should help relieve some of the anxiety. It could feel like a lot needs to be done and September promises to be a good month to get on track. Organization will be high on the priority list and a clear action-plan will support your efforts towards reaching your objectives. The New Moon in Virgo trining Uranus, carries the promise of self-sufficiency born out of efforts.

AQUARIUS: SUN/MOON/RISING

Most people know their Sun sign mainly due to popular Sun sign horoscopes. Fortunately, there is a lot more to astrology than a Sun sign and there are important distinctions to make when you begin to learn more about astrology.

The 3 ”pillars” of a natal chart are the Sun, the Moon and the Rising sign. Your Sun sign might not be the same as your Moon sign or your Rising sign.

SUN IN AQUARIUS  ⊙♒

Aquarius Sun folks are involuntary trend setters. The reason for this is their ability to step outside of the mold while imagining new ones. They have the knack for creating pathways in places where no one dares to go. Their unusual mind tend to be interested in developing new and better ways of doing things. Creative genius, their energy is usually invested in alternative modalities or different modes of thinking. Aquarius Sun people know what it means to be an outsider, for this reason they are often interested in bringing their contribution to the underdog and the marginalized. Their attention being mostly oriented in the realm of ideas, Aquarius Sun people invest a lot of their energies conceptualizing new and better structures. Although these Aquarians can become extremely stubborn in pursuing their vision, they remain non-the-less interested in novelties and open to anything that can better their understanding of what it means to be human.

MOON IN AQUARIUS ☽♒

If you have the privilege to be acquainted with an Aquarius Moon, then you know these folks enjoy their solitude and personal time. These mysterious creatures are difficult to get know. The  invisible boundaries that delineates the perimeters of their heart is such that no one can truly understand what goes on in their inner world. Moon in Aquarius folks are extremely kind and compassionate individuals and value their connections. However, they remain mostly misunderstood by their surroundings because of their seemingly aloof and detached nature. Philanthropist at heart, Aquarius Moon sensitivity is awaken by the injustice of this world. They are the first one to give the shirt off their back if someone is in need. These Aquarians are for the most part non-materialistic and happy to go without if they know it will help the less fortunate. There is perhaps only one thing that an Aquarius Moon would not give freely, and that is their alone time.

AQUARIUS RISING Asc♒

If you know your astrology, then you know that the rising sign is often linked to the physical appearance. Aquarius rising people usually have a distinctive look. Most people have a doppelgänger and were told at some point in their lives that they look like someone else. This is less common with Aquarius rising folks, not because of some eccentric feature but simply because of their unique karisma. These Aquarians are quirky and individualistic, and their preoccupations often brings them to be deeply involved in their field of interest. Intellectuals by nature, Aquarius rising are inhabited by the zeitgeist of the past, present, and future. Time has a special meaning for these folks, and their actions are often motivated by change and legacy as oppose to personal recognition. Activist by nature, you can  find the Aquarius rising hard at work, leading the way towards lasting changes in their social sphere, and in the world at large.

NEW MOON IN AQUARIUS: Revolving Doors

Do what he will, he [the profane man] is an inheritor. He cannot utterly abolish his past, since he himself is a product of his past. He forms himself by a series of denials and refusals, but he continues to be haunted by the realities that he has refused and denied.
― Mircea Eliade

The second of two eclipses this month comes with the New Moon in Aquarius on February 15 at 4:05pm ET.

It takes place at 27º of Aquarius, only a few days before the Sun’s ingress into the Water sign of Pisces. This partial eclipse is near the Dragon’s Tail aka the South Node of the Moon which is in part connected to a dissolution process.

In the last few weeks, Venus, Mercury and the Sun all met with the South Node of the Moon. This had the effect of dredging up all sorts of gunk from the bottom of our psyche which is ready to be cleansed and expelled back into the void.

“There is a face beneath this mask, but it isn’t me.
I’m no more that face than I am the muscles beneath it, or the bones beneath that.”
― Steve Moore, V for Vendetta

Aquarius is a Fixed Air sign traditionally ruled by Saturn. The purifying Waters of the water bearer cleanse the heart and clarifies the mind. Since the beginning of February, residues from past emotional burdens have been floating around on the surface of our awareness like dead skin on the surface of water. The dim light of the Sun in the sign of Aquarius allowed for a sort of detachment in regards to these afflictions, and perhaps the ability to find rational solutions for twisted emotional conundrums. The rays of the Sun are pale in the midst of Winter, and illumination comes from within.

The Full Moon in Leo on January 31st, served to highlight what weighs heavy on our heart but also connected us to our heart’s longing. The New Moon in Aquarius on February 15, stirs in us the potentialities of ideas born from these longings which in turn conjures new creative impulses deep inside of us. We can imagine a new trajectory for ourselves; will we have the courage to follow through?

Although still in their abstract forms, we can intuit the shape of things to come. New seeds are now being planted in foreign soil as we gaze on the vast territories of future promises. We must accept estrangement and embrace this liminal space for the time being as we fuel on the creative fires. The eclipses on the Leo/Aquarius axis ask that we have the courage of our ideals and the willingness to break our own rules in order to reach them. Nothing new is born in conformity and we must depart from the known if we are to realize what our heart longs for. We must also be willing to walk away from our love of approval and this is perhaps the most difficult task.

Unbelonging looms large in the uncharted Aquarian world, and seeking ”likes” and acknowledgment will only lead to disappointment. The resolute heart must find support within himself.

At the time of the New Moon, Saturn, the traditional ruler of Aquarius sextiles Venus in Pisces. This aspect speaks of calibrating our desires in a realistic framework, finding the sweet spot within our limitations and perhaps, the right measure of inspiration and work. Saturn in its home sign of Capricorn and Venus in the sign of her exaltation, dispense the proper tools for those who know how to utilize them. This aspect is also about maturity within our relationship and the realistic appraisal of our desire nature.

At the time of the New Moon, Uranus, the modern ruler of Aquarius sextiles Mercury in Aquarius.  This aspect speaks of an urge to break away from limiting through patterns and complicated situations/emotions that limits our vision. Mercury in Aquarius still squaring Jupiter in Scorpio is all about the honest appraisal of these complicated situations/emotions and perhaps unacknowledged desires that could be holding us back from truly breaking free from restrictions.

We must first clean out our basement before we can totally move out. Mars in Sagittarius applying to square Neptune in Pisces at the time of the New Moon, promises to blur and confuse this process. Ensuring that we are aiming at the proper target requires an honest assessment of the motivations hiding behind our arrows. Clarifying our intent is half the battle and our ability to differentiate the ideal from the real will take us a bit closer to the realization of our vision for the future.

SOLUTIONS AND DISSOLUTION

FOR WHEN THE SUN IN VIRGO OPPOSE NEPTUNE IN PISCES AND
THE MOON IN AQUARIUS CONJUNCT THE SOUTH NODE:

Can you discriminate between omens and wishful thinking?
Between poison and medicine?
Delusion and honesty?
Between a ghost and your own shadow?
Do you know your boundaries?

FULL MOON IN AQUARIUS: The Nekyia

”You cannot cross your own shadow however much you haste–it is always exactly ahead of your grasp. Sight cannot approach its objects without the medium of light and atmosphere; fish cannot swim out of water; and no more can embodied beings keep incorporeal company with things ideal. Some corporeal factor will always intrude itself, even if the mind be most fully detached from the visible world and at its most recollected when it attempts to engage with its invisible kin.” – St Gregory the Theologian

The Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Aquarius on August 7
is part of a bigger thread weaving itself throughout next year’s Eclipse cycle. Eclipses usually come in sets of two and we will see a New Moon/Solar Eclipse in the sign of Leo on August 21st which will be visible across the United-States. Much ink has been spilt about ”The Great American Eclipse” and I invite you to read a thorough analysis on Skyscript by my colleague Wade Caves.

Eclipses across the Leo-Aquarius axis will continue until August 2018 and this must be taken into consideration when speculating on the outcome of this particular Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Aquarius.

TAIL TO HEART & MIND TO MOUTH

”The lunar nodes are the orbital nodes of the Moon, that is, the points where the orbit of the Moon crosses the ecliptic. The ascending or north node is where the moon crosses from south of the ecliptic to north of the ecliptic. The descending or south node is where it crosses from north of the ecliptic to south of the ecliptic. Eclipses occur only near these lunar nodes.”

The Full Moon in Aquarius will take place next to the South Node of the Moon which is why it will be a Lunar Eclipse. The South Node of the Moon is also called the Tail of the Dragon or Ketu in Indian Astrology. It is sometime said that the South Node of the Moon is a point of spiritualization. Circumstances which have reach their fullness in the material world are ready to disintegrate, disappear, and go back into the void. Since the South Node of the Moon is currently traveling in the sign of Aquarius that part of the zodiac is ripped for transformation.

Aquarius is linked to eccentric figures and iconoclast who do not care for social conventions. Aquarius might at some level crave recognition but also seem to be totally self-sufficient in those regards. Being ruled by hard ass Saturn means that Aquarians are somewhat cold and distant even aloof when it comes to the language of the heart.

The sign opposing Aquarius is Leo and it is in the Lion’s den that the North Node of the Moon is currently residing; it is here that the other half of these eclipses will take place. The sign of Leo rules the heart and so Aquarians have much to learn in the next year when it comes to the language of the heart. The series of Eclipses on the Leo/Aquarius axis will see the Water Bearer connecting to their emotional centre. If this does not happen willingly it will be out of necessity or circumstances which pushes Aquarius folks to open up at the risk of loosing important connections.

The Full Moon on August 7 is at 15º in the middle decan of Aquarius and so the rebels and the misfits could find themselves having to surrender parts of themselves in order to stay afloat. Ancient stories and old ghosts could resurface with an important message before taking a forced offering and vanishing into the void. Exorcising stale assumptions about oneself is never easy especially for this very ”Fixed” part of the Zodiac. A tight grip on independence and individuality could potentially aggravate relationships in the next year. A honest offering of what is contained within the heart will help pay for the crossing to the other shore.

THE ORACLE

Projections and shadows will combine to create a dim spectacle. The union of heart and mind cannot be solved for the moment. One wishes to have a cold and solid heart, a respite, but the heart is too full. Disengaging from love which controls without logic one craves a solitude which doesn’t come easily. Detaching from the centre that unites while focusing on that same centre, the mind loses clarity. What is perceived as outside the self has a tight hold and is depleting to one’s own conception of reality and what matters. The urge is to dissociate from the mass hysteria while not being able to unplug.  One must courageously stare into the darkness while anticipating what lies ahead. There is an uncontrollable urge to reach the light coming from a distant promise. The scholar holds the book of knowledge and doesn’t want to let it go. The Self must be surrendered one way or another. Recognition will not come forth but once the grasp of individuation slowly releases, information will come rushing in. Trusting the heart is a work in progress. Resistance will only aggravate loneliness.

Who is most likely to be affected by these Eclipses

People born with the Sun, Moon, Ascendant or Nodal Axis in Aquarius or Leo.

People born with important planets (Sun, Moon) or their Ascendant in Scorpio and Taurus.

♏︎ ♒︎

The Moon will be making an interesting sequence of aspects in the next few days which is worth breaking down.

Thursday, the Moon enters the sign of Scorpio and almost immediately will trine the South Node of the Moon in Pisces. This could be thought of as getting a glimpse of the past, something hidden in the deep end resurfacing or finding ourselves obsessing over a memory we thought was buried forever.

*Since we are between eclipses (the next one being on February 26)  a more intense dream life is possible and revelations could come during your sleep.

The Moon in Scorpio will then trine Neptune in Pisces late Thursday night/early Friday morning. We can imagine this aspect as swimming through an underwater tunnel and coming across a sea monster and having to find the courage to get past a deep instinctual fear in order to swim through. There is a fine line between trusting our intuition and being carried away by delusional or irrational fears. Since the Moon in Scorpio and Neptune in Pisces are both Water signs, things could escape our conscious awareness as we are led by involuntary or visceral undercurrents. Do not get discouraged by things which are outside your control: work with what you have.

image-05

Friday morning or afternoon (depending where you live) the Moon in Scorpio will square Mercury in Aquarius while Mercury square Mars in Aries (ruler of the Moon in Scorpio) and briefly after that, the Moon will sextile Pluto in Capricorn before going void of course.

How we handle information and how we decide to communicate what we know could be challenged in some ways. How information is used to manipulate will be more obvious than usual and it could be a good time to assess what we let in and how we use it. Getting to the bottom of something in order to have more control over it can be a positive thing as long as we are clear about the specific motivations behind our actions. There could be an obsession around truth and technology which somehow lies beyond our immediate comprehension. The relationship between information and power is sure to be highlighted. These aspects could bring forth surprising tactics used through technology in order to control and dominate. Pay attention to what arises as we are heading towards dynamic astrological aspects in the last 10 days of February.

This tension could challenge us to think outside of our comfort zone in order to come up with innovative ideas that will help us move forward.

AQUARIUS 29

The sound of dripping water echoes through a great stone room.
The most unusual and distinctive of inward conditions. You are held within a mode of awareness that is from another time and place altogether. You have nothing to say and nothing to do. There is no power of individual life-force. Instead you see as the ancient ones see. Utter unworldliness to a point of dissociation from surface experience. A part of the mind transported by a reverie of timeless, effortless realization. Everything is clear. The subtlest, most refined things are obvious. It is all a matter of perspective, and here the perspective is that the only thing that matters is how the inward resonant echo registers and where it leads you in choiceless awareness, in communion with the Gods.
