The Sun brightens the deepest corners of your life at the beginning of November. This means that a great deal of what you have been struggling with can now be tied up in a nice little package and kicked out of your life. You have reason to feel good so don’t try to break it; just enjoy the illumination and ease. This has been a relatively powerful period for you and I think you might have felt it.  It’s not because you are letting yourself be happy and relaxed that you will jinx yourself. Things are changing profoundly for you but in a good way. The first half of the month has plenty of stabilising opportunities amidst deeper revelations. The Full Moon in Taurus on November 14 has a serious tone and you might need to have important conversations. Themes of maturity and responsibilities will surely come up. Your wish to take part in the bigger community and to bring your own personal input will increase as the month progresses. Power struggles are a potential risk so make sure you understand your own motivations before sending out ultimatums. You might not be totally aware of the full picture just yet so let others show themselves first. The New Moon in Sagittarius on November 29th is a good time to reset your stance in regards to finance. Assess the areas of your life that are draining your resources and turn off the tap where needed.

You have a solid month ahead of you and a lot of work and commitments on your plate Sagittarius. The beginning of the month will emphasise the things that are holding you back from accomplishing more. This could be related to partnerships but it could also be connected to a few bad habits that bring short term pleasure but that are not in your best interest in the long run. You have until the end of the month to clean that closet and make a pile of things you are ready to let-go. This will help you move ahead with the many opportunities that are knocking at your door. The Full Moon in Taurus on the 14 will help you shed light on this process of clearing out the old. You want to be healthy and ready to tackle all the work that you are creating for yourself. Releasing some bad habits will help you in keeping the momentum going and gaining some traction towards you goals. Don’t fool yourself into thinking that nothing is hiding in your closet. The sooner you deal with it the faster you can get on with business-and business will start moving faster in the last 2 weeks of November. You can expect to be busy with phone calls, emails and communications of all sorts that will take you right to the New Moon in your sign on November 29.

Capricorn:  The true motives of why you are doing what you are doing might remain hidden for now but you are doing a damn fine job at steering the ship and keeping it cool. When opportunity knocks at the door you take it; and so you should. Since you thrive on responsibilities, the month of November shouldn’t be too hard for you. You have a lot to say and you have a lot to show and the doors are open. Can it all be this easy though? Well yes it can. Your creative powers are in center stage and you can witness all the juicy potential behind each opportunity. That is something to get excited about. You are forging your future in a big way and the repercussions won’t be visible until much later. It is all the small steps, the yes’s and the hard work that takes you higher. Someday you wake up and you are sitting on top of the world. Since you are a pragmatic beast I know you won’t get THAT excited about my predictions but that’s ok. You’re keeping yourself in check and that’s why we need people like you. Just remember that you can’t be on 24/7. I have a good mission for you: this month, make some space for yourself. What would you really like to do?  Not your partner, not your boss, not your children but YOU. Don’t feel like you’re wasting your time when you spend it on yourself. See it as an investment into your future productivity.

Patronising assholes are everywhere you can’t change that. What you can change though is the power you give to those patronising assholes. The month begins with a New Moon in Scorpio in the part of your life that deals with those type of people. This is a good time to reset your stance in regards to the power dynamics you’ve had to deal with in the last few months. Mars will be moving in your sign from November 9th to December 19th. The red planet among many things represents our ability to defend and assert ourselves. I sometimes compare Mars to the instinctual self; the part of us concerned with survival, self-preservation, fear, aggression and desire. Taken to the extreme or when not properly expressed Mars becomes belligerent and contentious caught in issues of power and domination. At its best Mars is an excellent strategist who gives strength and courage to face adversity.  November is an excellent time for you to develop a healthy relationship with the war god. Take advantage of Mars’s passage in your sign to assert your self when needed and to know when to back down. Formulate a winning strategy that will help you and your ”army” move forward. “Move not unless you see an advantage; use not your troops unless there is something to be gained; fight not unless the position is critical.”― Sun Tzu, The Art of War

This month you are navigating the mysterious waters where the irrational and the rational parts of yourself and others meet and merges. The fantasies projected on the people close to you and how they live up to the utopian visions cast upon them will surface. The same goes for the images directed on your person. The veil that protects you from the austere reality of judgment could get thinner. Like a ray of light piercing the smoke screen that blurs perception this will  helps you see the contours of your current circumstances. We can only ever know subjective reality. Each person’s experience depends on the meaning they assign to objective reality. But when a moment of lucidity occurs and we see through the dreams and the stories we tell ourselves a door opens. A bifurcation in the road. Was this option here all along? How did you not see it before? These types of revelations are often subtle but extremely liberating; like an old forgotten splinter being removed. A realisation you have been living with some form of discomfort and unconsciously adapting to the pain. Understand that even though these unveilings might be unpleasant at first they will create immeasurable expansiveness and a rich and fertile soil on which to cultivate your future crops.

The month of November promises to be a bit more organised than the month of October. The revelations of last month’s Full Moon in your sign are settling in and you are ready to tackle what needs to be done. A clearer sense of the resources available or lacking in your life can help you make some important decisions especially in regards to finances. Innovative ideas and  original business concepts can be further developed. You are still caught between two very distinct voices; on one side you want financial security but you also dream of being self-employed and having the freedom to be your own boss. A good way to handle these 2 very distinct voices would be to keep a safety-net while you brainstorm on the ways you could be more self-reliant. The Full Moon in Taurus on the 14 of November illuminates the areas of your life where this is possible. Even though you are naturally more of a doer than a planner you might be surprised at what you will be able to come up with if you work those brain muscles. Until October 2017, Jupiter is in your opposite sign of Libra.  Among many things this means that you are itching to go beyond the familiar, you feel more optimistic and you are willing to aim BIG. This will be possible as long as you keep a dose of pragmatism in your plan. The opportunity for growth and expansion is there but it will have to be a deliberate process.

”The fertility cycle is a cycle entirely of living creatures passing again and again through birth, growth, maturity, death, and decay.” -Wendell Berry
The month of November will bring some sobering realisations about your relationships and more extensively the love within them. A process is well underway that is helping you shed some burdensome misconceptions and hopefully approach your loved ones with a renewed devotion. The small print in the deal is that you will have to work extra hard at relating and put a double dose of mature understanding in your love potion. All the fragile parts that you keep hidden in the bottom drawer will need a good dusting and you could break a few pieces in the process if you don’t pay 100% attention to what you are doing. It’s easier to be present with what is unfolding in your partnerships then to have to clean up the mess later. But then maybe the mess needs to happen. Sometime it is the only way to understand ourselves, to see others and the assumptions and projections we cast on each other. The Full Moon in your sign on the 14 of November shines her lights brightly for you to see all of it. She will bring penetrating insight into the dynamics you enact within your partnerships. The ensuing lucidity could be a bit disenchanting but forewarned is forearmed.

You have no control over what other people think of you. What you have control over is how you let other people affect your well being. It was a hard earned lesson but you get it now. You will also start witnessing an increase of support coming from your peers. It is not that it wasn’t there before but it seems more obvious now. This comes as a relief since this last year was a solitary climb. Which made you a lot more resilient and ready to do the work on your own.  You are also not willing to settle for any type of agreements anymore. You are dreaming of something bigger for yourself and you are committed to getting it. Finding the right balance between work and pleasure remains one of the biggest challenges this month. The Full Moon in Taurus on November 14 highlights your inner life and what you do to recharge your battery. You might be craving to escape your usual routine for a few days, going in nature or even just turning off the computer. You might also realise that you are ready to let go a few bad habits to make more time and space in your life. Whatever it is, this time of year marks an important transition and shedding a few layers helps us enter into it. Implementing change is not always easy but you are an adaptable creature.  The biggest difficulty might be to discern where and what is slowing you down but once you zero in on it you will be well on your way.

Our memory is a vast safehold in which we take refuge. Within those walls are many corridors; some are very well lit others are narrow and dim. Perhaps the most striking feature of stored  memories is their ability to change shape with time and become a fantasized version of the original one. Once they are stored, memories continue to live on their own. They exist in a liminal space between our everyday awareness and the dream life. They mingle with older (more experienced) memories, exchange numbers and sometime even trade faces. But for the most part they are pretty much self-sufficient and they do their own thing. Although it only takes a special word, a song or a smell to revitalise a memory back to life which is extraordinary. This month, you could find yourself walking in one of those ”dimmer” corridors within your safehold and make some interesting discoveries. A new door could appear with a sign that says ”forbidden” on it and you might decide to enter anyway. The room is dark and you can’t quite make out the contours of the objects. You have a feeling of having been here before; a sense of familiarity and foreignness simultaneously. In this dark room you see dozens of dusty shelves with stored memories that do not belong to you. Some of them you faintly recognise from a dream but most of them look alien. The question is: what are they doing in your safehold and where do they come from?

“You cannot swim for new horizons until you have courage to lose sight of the shore.”
― William Faulkner
This month begins with a lot of action on the home front. You might have to re-adjust your stance on your place in this world and where you want to be. Some important questions will need to be asked. Some important conversation with yourself will need to happen. Your home and your career are on your mind. Where you belong and where you want to be. Old versions of yourself will need to die. What you were told when you were young about what you could be when you grow up has an invisible hold on you. Old stories will need to die so  you can write better ones. You might need to pull out a few old roots before you can till the soil. Pulling those old roots might be the most difficult process. We like to hold on to things because we think we need them. We can’t imagine ourselves without those old ideas, those old memories. With time these old roots become crutches that slow us down. Walking with crutches becomes a habit without us being aware of it. You are standing at this crossroad now and you have the choice.  You can trust that you have all the resources available within you to create the life you want. Or you can continue to listen to the old voices from your past and hold onto the old rotting roots but I think you already made up your mind.

There is a lot going on in the first half of the month.  You could be super busy with logistical stuff like email, phone calls, getting permits and signing papers. You have been engaged with implementing some new visions or project into your life and the work continues. Your mind could turn on more lofty ideals as November progresses. The Full Moon in Taurus on November 14th could see you dreaming of exotic places. Find time for contemplation and peace especially in the later part of the month. Inspiration will come from strange places. You could be bubbling with ideas but you could also have a hard time anchoring your thoughts into a productive outlet. There could also be logistical issues on the home front that are hard to resolve. Partnership is on your mind and you will have to navigate around other people before you are able to find resolve. Some things that might have been left out of the conversation until now will need to be said. Your words carry more weight than usual so be tender. If you feel like your mind is racing in too many directions, find time for a grounding practice. It is important in this transitional time of the year to make space for regenerative activities and it’s normal to not have the same level of energy. Prioritize your well-being above the work and you will get more efficient when you are working. ”The more we simplify our material needs the more we are free to think of other things.” – Eleanor Roosevelt

Is there such a thing as a sober romance Libra? Isn’t romance suppose to be a wild and drunk passionate embrace?  Why does it have to be so boring sometimes? Probably because it is not practical to be in that state for too long. We can fantasize all we want but when it comes down to it we probably like the idea of romance better than the real thing. Because when we break it down, a romance eventually turns into familiarity and familiarity breeds contempt. When a romance turns into a relationship it also turns into a habit. Do we have to go there? Do we have to get used to another person to the point of accepting their snoring, their dirty laundry and their farts? Is the end point of all love stories farting and snoring together? Is there an effortless way to keep the flame of love alive without having it extinguished by these occasional winds? I like to believe that there is! I like to think there is a fine balance between proximity and distance and between revealing and concealing. It is one of the hardest things to do but I think it is one of the essential ingredients in keeping love fresh. You might not feel like making all these efforts right now. You might feel like everything is going well and the dissatisfaction could come from your partner. In fact you might have been so busy with your own projects that you forgot about love all together. Whichever one it is this month will contain some serious conversation around these themes and an opportunity to either deepen or abandon some cherished illusions.

“The devil can cite Scripture for his purpose.
An evil soul producing holy witness
Is like a villain with a smiling cheek,
A goodly apple rotten at the heart.
O, what a goodly outside falsehood hath!”

― William Shakespeare, The Merchant of Venice
